If the 'camping' you enjoy most includes plush carpeting, cable TV, WiFi, full kitchen and a comfortable king sized bed, and if your idea of 'rustic' means a view of majestic mountains out your many-windowed living room, then you will enjoy being a guest at our Rocky Top Vacation Home Rental.
Our modern log housekeeping 'cabin' offers the cozy comfort of all wood interiors and comfortable furnishings. Private BBQ grill and picnic table allows you to enjoy outdoor dining, and gliding cedar porch chairs are a comfortable alternative to 'sittin' round a campfire'. Rent both sides of the duplex to accommodate larger groups.
The first floor contains the kitchen, living/dining, bedroom with king bed and bathroom. The upper floor has a bedroom with king bed and another full bathroom.
The kitchen is equipped with full sized electric range, full sized refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, and all the dishes, pots, pans, etc. that you should need. Towels and linens are provided, too.
We have a lovely, private setting, but are still convenient to town, being 1/4 mile north of the town limits - close enough to walk to restaurants and stores, but far enough to be 'away from it all', with the Crystal Lake Trail as close as your back door.

Summary: Cabin 2 had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We loved the views fron the covered porch. Super quiet and great pots and pans for meal prep. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance although a road walk is required.Great jumping off point for exploring Lake City and the San Juan’s.

Summary: The cabin and the owners were very nice. The cabin was really nice inside. King beds were the best. It was very quiet and Cabin #2 parking next to the cabin was great! The gas stove was so pretty! Everything was easy to access. The 'only' negative I can say is that the TV was just a normal "DISH" stations......So if you have used to streaming everything (without commercials) then I would say put your Firestick or Roku stick in your suitcase and -VIOLA - problem solved!!!! I loved this cabin and the proximity to EVERYTHING in Lake City. I give it 5 stars!!!! (Did I mention KING BED!)
