Summary: The apartment is very nice and functional. The location is great. Our only negative was that there is not a lot of closet space in the bedrooms. But overall, this place was a great value. The group was my wife and I, plus our two adult sons. I would stay here again, but perhaps with three adults instead of four.

Summary: The Historic Cottage was honestly the best self-check in property we have experienced in some time. The communication prior to check-in was on time and clear; the bedrooms were large and well-appointed; and the living space with family room and tea room, were comfortable and relaxing. The back patio was a wonderful bonus...serene and quiet. The property is perfectly situated across from the University with easy walks to the Old Course, the Castle, and Market St. We parked directly in front of the Cottage and even with a Student Week party our first night, we felt both safe and comfortable with the car and foot traffic. We would highly recommend the Cottage for families or couples traveling together!

Summary: Overall this was a perfect little home for us to stay in during our short visit to St. Andrews. The location is central to be able to walk anywhere you want. Lots of restaurant and coffee shop options. Only disappointment we had was that the smoke alarm in the kitchen went off randomly as we were trying to go to bed the third night. There was no apparent reason for it to go off and so our third night was not a great one, figuring out how to get the alarm to stop beeping and hoping it didn't go off again during the night.

Summary: We loved this townhouse, it was comfortable, well-equipped and right in the middle of town so we walked everywhere. The owners left a full range of coffee and tea supplies to get us started. The backyard garden was beautiful for a wee dram in the afternoon (when it wasn't raining).
