This condo is nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountains and 100 yards from public access to Lake San Cristobal, Colorado's second largest natural body of water. Lake San Cristobal and the surrounding streams make this location a fisherman's paradise. You can ride out onto the Alpine Loop directly from the condo without having to trailer your OHV or ATV to a staging area. There is plenty of room to park your trailer nearby as well. You can explore the Alpine Loop and many other ATV/Jeep, biking and hiking tails the area has to offer. Along these trails you will discover many ghost towns and the rich mining history of the area. The condo is 4 miles from the remote historic mountain town of Lake City where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, parks, mini golf, a movie theater and museum. Hiking, fishing, fly fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, skate boarding, multiple public parks, mine tours, mini golf, etc. If it is outdoors, Lake City likely has it. In the winter there is skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, sledding, snowmobiling, and ice climbing. Summary: What an incredible spot in the Lake City area! It's perfectly located on the Alpine Loop and near other scenic trails, and the best part is—you can ride your SXS right from the property, no trailer needed, and head straight into town. Kristin, the owner, was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions we had. The place is fully stocked, right down to a crockpot. The porch is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the peaceful creek, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating, especially around the fire pit, so no need to bring your own lawn chairs. Inside, the place is cozy and comfortable. Between the convenience, comfort, cleanliness and stunning views, you won’t be disappointed!

Summary: Great location, affordable, and had a well stocked kitchen. We loved the location right next to the lake. The lake had great fishing from the shore. You can park or ride your ATV's into town and to the major passes like Engineer or California pass. The only downside of rhe condo was you could hear the upstairs unit walking about, but ear plus or a box fan going at night, helped this. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Great space layout in condo- bedrooms are on either side of living rooms and bathrooms adjacent to bedrooms. Kitchen is WELL equipped (Thank you!). Plenty of pots/pans/lids, cooking utensils AND plastic storage. Played Lake City-Opoly and other board games that we were at the condo. Incredibly clean and great location!
