Positive: Beach front location with sandy beach. Small retail park with restaurants within walking distance. The staff we spoke with gave good advice. Don’t miss the turtles on Poipu beach.

Negative: Long drawn out wait to book in even though I had done the advance online check in. Said room would be ready by 4pm had to wait until 4.45! On doing the (complete waist of time)“turn down service” the room door was left open.

Positive: We had a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean. It would have been been better with a screen door. The grounds were beautiful, it was very quiet and peaceful and I enjoyed the artwork.

Negative: It was the last week of February and since the pool wasn't heated, it was too cold for me.

Positive: the view was spectacular. we saw a whale from the balcony, the bed and pillows were nice. the bathroom supplies were generous. we also made leis for a birthday dinner we had at the beach house restaurant. the pool staff guided is the the Poipu beach where the sea turtles were located at sunset.

Negative: the food was okay. not much to write home about. the check in was nice but they forgot to provide us with all of the paperwork (places to eat, maps of the area, the scratch off for points or a free cruise).

Summary: it was a great escape for a few days.
