Positive: The baths were incredible, really well maintained and were beautiful, especially surrounded by snow and the mountains

Negative: The actual rooms were very dated, it felt like a hotel past it's prime. As a result I felt the 5 star rating and price of the hotel to be misleading.

Positive: I loved the Ryokan Style and how they put High Tech in Traditional Design in. If you looking for a quite and not busy place in the Mountains, then you found one of the perfect places. The Onsen you can put it in one word: Awesome! The Gentlemen and Lady's Section switches in the Morning, or Evening, so You can go in the same Day on both In- and Outdoor places. the Times are 05:00AM - 10:00AM and 03:00PM - 01:00AM. The Experience of this Onsen is worth it, I highly can recommend it. You also get a Yukata you can use for free (Have to return it bei Check-Out).

Negative: Well, there was actually just one thing, but this have nothing to do with this grade Ryokan. There are a Buffet, and some of the Tourist just overload the plate with food, so others have to wait a little bit, for the refill. But that's if they raised that way.

Summary: If you looking for a quite place in the Mountains, if awesome Outdoor Onsen, this is the place...
