Positive: Extremly comfortable with wonderful onsen and meals. The English speaking staff (the lady) was fantastic, told us about the history of this hotel and how they relocated the building from niigata to here, such marvelous story .

Positive: This was my first time staying in a ryokan and what a lovely experience in such a beautiful and peaceful space. Our room was very comfortable and I loved the traditional minimalist style. The staff were accommodating and professional. The food was fabulous, and after dinner we enjoyed a soak in the private onsen after a long day of walking around.

Positive: Amazing time!! Was Hesitant because we’re normally in the budget range for hotels but this was absolutely worth every penny. You feel so so cared for and they really do go above and beyond to make your time as special as possible. The food was excellent, all kinds of courses and full by the end. Beautiful traditional building inside and out. The private onsen whilst snowing was one of the most special experiences of our lives
