Positive: Key handoff was easy and Aya was really friendly! She highlighted what was open and not nearby, we didn't realize that most restaurants in that area took Wednesdays as their day off which was really helpful to know. We were able to adjust our plan of where we were getting lunch for our hike next day no problem. Best washer dryer I've used in Japan ever. It automatically added in detergent and the dryer was fast and thorough. We could easily wash our hiking clothes and have them fresh and dry for the next day. Super comfortable and convenient, loved it. One of our favorite places we stayed.

Positive: The host met us at the place and gave us a tour of the house and many good suggestions about ShinGu area. Since we are hiking the Kumano trail with heavy bags and next hotel was not far away, he offered to deliver the bags free of charge so that we can have light day hiking. The house is big and comfortable with wash and dry machines. Big living room and sleep rooms are at the 2nd floor. The location is perfect and near the main bus station and close to the trail as well.

Positive: Fantastic location right off the Kumano Kodo with a very comfortable space. Our host is incredibly kind and considerate to create a most comfortable space with all of the amenities a hiker could ask for. My family was very impressed by the space, and greatly appreciated all of the amenities.

Positive: Our family of 5 (adult children) stayed in many apartments/houses while visiting Japan. This was our favorite. The host met us at the house and explained everything to us. This clean, attractive home is perfect for those on the Kumano Kudo trail. Easy walk to town and bus station. The host had an abundance of snacks available for guests, each one labeled for those who have food allergies. There were maps available, bus schedules and information on dining options. The host has literally thought of everything. A wonderful stay.
