Positive: We had an amazing stay at Yala Tropical Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Chamba welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we instantly felt at home. She truly is one of the most genuine and caring hosts we’ve ever met. Every small detail of our stay reflected her thoughtfulness — from the delicious breakfasts she prepared each morning to the fresh mango juice waiting for us after our afternoon walks. The lodge itself is simple, clean, and very comfortable beds, with great air conditioning and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The value for money is outstanding — it’s rare to find such kind hospitality and comfort at such a fair price. Chamba went above and beyond to make sure we felt our absolute best during our visit, and we left feeling like we were saying goodbye to a friend. We can’t recommend Yala Tropical Lodge enough for anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Chamba, for making our stay so special

Positive: We stayed for one night before visiting Yala national park and the accommodation was just great. Very kind and welcoming host was waiting for us and everything was prepared and clean. There is a possibility to get safari experience directly via Tropical Lodge we did not know about, next time we would do it. The breakfast was just great - fresh fruits and pancakes with tea before we left for a long journey. Love it.

Positive: We extended our stay at Yala Tropical Lodge once again. There is so much to see in the area, and the lodge has a perfect location close to the Yala Safari entrance. The room is spacious and surrounded by a beautiful garden. It was a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy a morning coffee and breakfast. The host is exceptionally kind, offers great local advice, and prepares delicious breakfasts and dinners. We went on safari twice with Champa’s brother and saw an incredible number of animals. Thank you for making our stay so special. We will definitely return in the future.

Positive: We had an exceptional stay at Whispering Wind Yala and ended up extending our visit (9 days total). The room is very private, and the garden is beautiful and full of birdlife. Champa, the owner, is incredibly kind and accommodating. She prepared excellent breakfasts and shared valuable local birdwatching advice. Thanks to her recommendations, we visited Bundala National Park and had some once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounters, including fishing cat, foxes, and a changeable hawk-eagle. We also went on safari in Yala with Champa’s brother, who is an excellent driver and guide. During the safari we saw a leopard, sloth bear, elephants, a fishing owl, and many other species. We will definitely return. Thank you for such a memorable stay!!

Positive: I had a very pleasant stay here. The room is clean, large, with hot water and air conditioning. A beautiful garden for relaxation. I love breakfasts in nature, especially when you can choose what you like, such as kiri hodi o))). Safari arrangements are a matter of course, especially in the family o). The neighbors are very nice and it's a short walk to town. The beautiful temple on the ocean shore, where the waves crash against the rocks, is unforgettable. There is a lot to see in the area, such as Kathararagama, Tissa, or Sithulpawwa, which is accessible via the national park. The owner will recommend and arrange everything for you. I recommend staying here.
