Positive: What a find! Yala Lodge is incredible. The views of peacocks, hornbills, water buffalo etc out our window was a unique experience. The villa was clean and comfortable. We loved the pool and the peace and quiet. You are in your own little world right outside Yala. The staff make this place extra special. Ruma went above and beyond for us. The mission and vision of this place appealed to us as we are also educators. Take the time to relax here on your next trip!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay in the Yala Duplex. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is brand new. The staff were professional, warm, and very attentive. The pool was definitely the highlight — spotless, relaxing, and equipped with great water massage features. The hotel also has a beautiful vintage van and offers a free shuttle service to the beach. What made our stay even more special was how welcome and at home the staff made us feel. This is one of the best places to stay in the Yala area and truly worth the price. With only three villas, each featuring its own private pool, the experience feels exclusive and peaceful.

Positive: This was truly the best hotel and the best stay we had in Sri Lanka. Awishka is an amazing chef, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our room was very clean, and we even had a clean private pool all to ourselves. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the villa was beautifully designed, well furnished, and of very high quality. Everyone was so helpful throughout our stay. The safari they recommended was excellent as well — we saw leopards and many other animals. One of the highlights was the live traditional cooking over a wood fire. We also really appreciated that the hotel supports the local village and schoolchildren. It is a wonderful fair-trade business concept. We had a beautiful time there. Special thanks to the chef and to the front officer, Udara, who was always helpful and even drove us to the beach for free in the VW bus. The hotel also offers free bicycles and a shuttle service to the beach with the VW bus. Thank you for this wonderful stay.
Negative: nothing
Summary: A wonderful stay with excellent service and beautiful villa
