Positive: Amazing stay! The host was very nice and helpful, arranged great Safari and transfer to next town, went out of his way to make sure that we have a great experience in Yala. The room was fantastic, modern finish, good WiFi, very comfortable. Overall just really pleasant atmosphere, exceptional home restaurant short walk away (mom’s kitchen).

Negative: Nothing - wish I stayed longer!

Positive: Room was clean and tidy good AC fan and bathroom.fine for an over nighter.

Negative: Tried to over change from our booking.com price, thinking we should pay the commission, took awhile for them to realize. Is new so give the benefit of doubt. Breakfast was ok, but below standard compared to what we are used to in Sri Lanka. No tea or coffee.

Positive: Great spot to do a Yala safari, very affordable and I slept really well. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the A/C works. The host was very nice and arranged everything for me.

Positive: The property is very clean and everything is completely new. Rooms are big and comfortable! The staff is very nice, we got a welcome drink. He booked us a jeep for a safari as well, he is always ready to help. He even offered us the scooter to get to the ATM at night. He prepares a nice breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning to go to Yala safari. The are it self is not good for anything else than a place close to the national park. We had a comfy stay.

Positive: A brand new villa hosted by a kind young family. It features 3 bedrooms - one with a private bathroom and the other two sharing another. Very comfy lounge area with recliners. Table sitting is available both indoors and outdoors and there is access to a fridge and a kitchen. A lovely gated garden that makes you feel safe and secluded. The host kindly organised a Yala safari for us and had breakfast boxes prepared for our jeep safari trip at 5:30 in the morning. The Kirinda Temple and beach are accessible on foot, but a total must is the Thaulle restaurant, swimming pool and dramatic beach we also walked to.

Positive: We had a great stay at Coco Villa Yala! The rooms are very modern and clean, there is great water pressure and nice hot showers! Everything looks exactly like the photos! The owners are so friendly and helpful and they kindly organised dinner for us at the homestay one of the evenings. The location is perfect as very close to the Yala national park entrance. We would definitely recommend and would happily stay here again!

Positive: This villa is a real little gem. Spacious with nice areas to relax both inside and outside. It is spotlessly clean. The rooms are as good size, dark curtains to block out the light, the bed linen and towels brand new, clean and good quality. The beds really comfy. The bathroom was immaculately clean. The villa is in a quiet location, very close to the national park, good for an early morning start. You can just hear the birds and wildlife. What makes this place though is the host and his son and family. They are really lovely, so welcoming and friendly. We arrived earlier than expected but were greeted with fresh melon and a smile. He was so helpful, he helped us organise our safari, taxi, recommended places to eat and helped with our laundry. If you are looking for a quiet, spotlessly clean place, close to the national park then I would definitely recommend here.
