There’s also an eat-in kitchen, equipped with all the cookware, appliances, and essentials required to satisfy the most exacting chef. Note: chef alert! While you’re out exploring Southport, be sure to pick up some fresh seafood at nearby markets dotting the Intracoastal Waterway.
You’ll also find modern conveniences including a Nest thermostat, USB charging ports, and, feel free to pack light: you’ve got your own washer/dryer as well. There’s even a comfy loveseat to curl up in for movie nights or rainy days, but, the private deck will probably be your favorite spot!

It’s private and spacious and surrounded by the most beautiful trees. HOUSE RULES
Guests are required to sign our Rental Agreement per the NC Vacation Rental Act within 3 days of booking or 24 hours before arrival, whichever is earliest. Guests are required to provide a photo ID upon request.
Security deposit required - $300 hold to be authorized on guest’s credit card by host 2 days prior to arrival and released within 5 days of departure if no issues.
Refunds will not be offered for any reason outside of the cancellation window. Please purchase trip insurance to protect your trip.
Not safe or suitable for infants or children. NO pets - our family dog is not always compatible with other pets.
NO parties or events of any kind. STRICT maximum of 2 guests.

Parking for up to 2 standard vehicles is available off the circle next to the sign "Tree Escape Parking". Trucks and trailers come and go regularly from our home so please leave the main driveway and circle clear. You may park at the bottom of the stairs for temporarily while unloading or loading your vehicle.
The main home on the property, fenced in back yard, front yard, garage and storage area behind the garage are all part of our private residence and are not accessible to guests.
Quiet hours of 10pm to 8am are strictly enforced.

Summary: First of all, thank you Ginga! Your place was elegantly designed and a super comfortable base for our weekend. Every last detail considered, from labels on the light switches to a thorough welcome book with a digital version. We couldn’t afford lodging on Bald Head island and “settled” for Southport. Turns out, it was the right choice! We enjoyed our stay and will be recommending to friends. All in all a “fair dinkum” stay!

Summary: We had a wonderful time staying at the Tree Escape. How many times do you get to see snow in Southport? Tree Escape was more beautiful than we expected. We were also able to meet Ginga and Oz which was a bonus.

Summary: Tree Escape was very quiet and secluded. Everything was just so clean and the bed was very comfortable! Town was just a short drive away and is walkable during daylight hours. We would stay here again!

Summary: My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Tree Escape! We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying nature as the loft is pushed back off the street. Ginga has everything you will need.
