Summary: I cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Candy Store House! Everything was just perfect and we hated to leave. The bed was so comfortable, the bathrooms nice and the kitchen well stocked. We were so comfortable and will look forward to coming back.

Summary: We couldn’t have asked for more for our quickly planned two-week reprieve from the northern snow and ice. Southport is beautiful in late March-early April with so many azaleas and other flowering bushes in full bloom. The Candy Store House rental was perfect for my husband and me and our dog. We were two blocks from the water and just a few blocks from shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere. Southport is a very sweet friendly town for people AND dogs of all ages. E spoke with so many genuinely nice people. Highly recommend this rental In this exceptional place.

Summary: Loved my stay here. Great neighborhood two blocks to the water and downtown. The house was comfy with a huge kitchen, fireplace, and fun details. Only minor whine is that it could use some sharper knives in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again and would wholeheartedly recommend.
