Positive: The breakfast was really tasty.. porridge was delicious, the eggs Benedict with a twist were also delish, huge fruit and pastry platter, great coffee. More than one could eat. Dining in the private dining room was very nice also. The tasteful architecture, interior design and perfectly manicured gardens make this place a design lovers delight. Great book selection. Ishq is a tranquil oasis in the middle of the bustle of Colombo. The staff just sort of appear when you need something.. very attentive without imposing. We will stay here again, it feels welcoming and homely rather than a hotel. Highly recommend!

Positive: It’s exquisite..in the best location in Colombo. it has everything you need. It’s a hidden gem. There are 4 spacious rooms. A pool. A jazuzzi. Welcoming personell. Two of the rooms have a lovely living room. On one night we chose to have Dinner there and it was the best decision. Highly recommended.
