Positive: The apartment occupied the whole level 4. It was unusually spacious with a high ceiling over the dining table, a lounge chair and a couple of chairs around a small coffee table. Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchenette was equipped with a microwave, air fryer and a large fridge. The two bathrooms/toilets were well-equipped with toiletries.

Negative: There was an overpowering smell of camphor/moth balls in the apartment, our clothes smelled of camphor afterwards. The sensor lights outside different corners of the apartment came on and off intermittently all night, fortunately I brought my eye mask with me, otherwise I would not be able to sleep. We were hoping to use the washing machine before we flew home, unfortunately the washing machine was on a different level (level 6) to the house (accessible only by lift) and it was locked behind some gates and only the manager had the keys to open the gates. When we contacted the host who was in the US, she advised us that we could give our clothes to the worker behind the gates for them to wash. We decided not to bother.

Positive: We arrived in Colombo late at night, and our host kindly arranged a taxi transfer from the airport to the accommodation, for which we are very grateful. It made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The conditions were good, and the furniture created a cozy, home-like feeling in a traditional Asian atmosphere. The property is located on a quiet street, which ensures a peaceful stay. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. We appreciate the hospitality and would recommend this place to other travelers.

Positive: very privacy, comfort, nearby and value for money. The is added value service given such as one way to pick up/drop off to airport. My additional request was taken care. The space big enough for my own stay. For sure will book again for my next visit here.

Positive: Our host Sharmalee was very kind and helpful, always well reachable. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and spacious enough for 3 people. Tuktuks were always quick available to get us everywhere we wanted.

Negative: It was not too bad because outside temperature was high but we had no option for a hot shower. If this is important for you, ask in advance if it works. And the smell of some cleaning product was very intense. A possibility to cook small menus would be great.
