Positive: Very beautiful house, well equipped. Far from village center, half the way up the mountain but no view. Inside, is very well furnished and equipped. I felt at home.

Negative: Location. It's a bit too far out the village, with no reason. Do not forget to buy milk before going up. It will not be easy to have any up there.

Summary: Great house, with good furnishing and equipment. Fell at home. Bit long to reach

Positive: The views from the house are just spectacular! Literally on the side of a mountain with views of mountains and waterfalls. Close to town but out of the craziness of Flåm. The house is very neat and clean and very nicely decorated. The heated bathroom floor was a real plus. The hostess was charming and she helped us get access when we didn’t get her email instructions. Loved it, loved it, loved it! We would rent it again in a minute!!!

Negative: It wasn’t a problem for us, but the walk up to the house from the driveway is somewhat steep and composed of dirt and grass. Also the stairs up to the two bedrooms upstairs were somewhat steep as well. Not a criticism - just something for the movement impaired to consider.

Negative: Steep stairs to upstairs bedrooms. Lack of at least a second half-bathroom. Lack of a proper pathway (no stairs) from parking area to home’s porch.

Summary: Five adults had a lovely 3-night stay. Nice home with beautiful views.
