Positive: We had a good stay at the Golden Nest. The location just opened, so there are not many reviews available. The room & bathroom are very nice, new and clean. The hosts are very attentive and the breakfast is good. The location itself is just outside the busy part of Ella, but very close to all the restaurants, Little Adam’s Peak & other

Negative: We booked a room with balcony however this is apparently a shared balcony which could mean that you have other guests having breakfast infront of your room while you’re still asleep. This woke us up every morning. Not a problem if you are an early bird, but otherwise good to keep this in mind.

Positive: Great location. Comfy bed and great hot shower. The people were lovely and breakfasts very generous.

Negative: Slight damp smell in our upstairs room but nothing to worry about !!
