Positive: Perfectly placed for walks into town or trips to the Eastern fells and beyond. The property was very homely for our short stay and the whole group independently gave great feedback on their own rooms and experience. We always received prompt contact when we had a question and the hosts were very welcoming. In a time where demand in the lakes is as high as ever, we felt so lucky to find such a nice place to stay at such a reasonable price.

Positive: Locations was great and easy walking distance to both Windemere centre and the lake, host were very accommodating and very responsive, even arranged let us in too put something's into the fridge on the morning of arrival while the property was being cleaned and allowed us to check well before the official time. Property was very spacious and the little extras provided fresh bread and milk ect were great, couldn't ask for more in our long weekend in the lakes.

Positive: The house has obviously been recently refurbished and was spotlessly clean. Loved the small touches like the colourful flowers in the back yard, the nespresso machine and hot chocolate maker, the provision of extras in the fridge, the book collection in the lounge, the tourist leaflets… All of those touches (I’m sure to have forgotten some!) made it feel homely & somewhere we wanted to spend time. It was also so easy to contact the property with questions and they were responsive and kind.
