The lodge is beautifully furnished to accommodate up to 6 guests plus a tiny tot along with a small dog. With three good sized bedrooms, two with a king size bed and one a double, plus a super equipped kitchen and living area with all the fancy amenities one would expect. Add in the spacious outside terrace furnished to a high standard and of course, a hot tub! How much better can it get….

Summary: Potter's Lodge is a beautifully decorated 3 bed Lodge set in the ideal lakeside location of White Cross Bay Holiday Park. 5 minutes drive from central Windermere, which has good train network links to London and Glasgow, the train station being perfectly situated next to Booths, a pleasant large supermarket with fresh produce. The buses are very frequent with the 599 stopping outside White Cross Bay Holiday Park direct from Windermere train station, and onto picturesque Ambleside and Grasmere. The holiday park is nestled at the foot of the stunning hills of Troutbeck and well worth a visit to the Old Post Office Tea Room there, overlooking a fabulous vista. Further south is the bustling shopping experience of Bowness-on-Windermere, also accessible easily by bus and much celebrated for the famous World of Beatrix Potter. There is so much to enjoy around the local area, boat trips, Holehird Gardens, Stock Ghyll Force and so much more....we highly recommend Potter's Lodge for family and friends, it's very spacious and has a glorious hot tub to experience after a day spent walking in countryside that is pure Poetry.

Summary: This lodge is perfect very clean everything you could ever need for a holiday and very doggy friendly, the only problem we had was that the hot tub was not ready to be used on the day that we arrived which was very frustrating as we were looking forward to it the view to the lake is gorgeous

Summary: We’ve stayed many times in the Lake District in different lodges, I have to say this is absolutely our favourite stay. Such a beautiful lodge with all the comforts you could need, fabulous location, the size of the lodge Is excellent, we would love to stay here again.

Summary: The lodge is a very good size with views of lake Windermere plenty of space for 2 cars but nearby parking too very warm and cozy you have a hive that controls the heating the only very disappointing thing was that the hot tub was not ready for us to use on Friday at all Clubhouse on site was very busy and friendly we never used the pool small mini market which stocked everything you would need on a short break White Cross Bay is a lovely site within a 10 minute drive of Bowness and Ambleside

Summary: We loved our stay at Potters Lodge and the whole place was spotless and had everything we needed. The only negative that I can say is that the frying pans need replacing as when I tried to cook fried eggs they just stuck to the pans. I tried both and they stuck to both of them. Everything else was amazing. So much do, we have booked again for May 2025.

Summary: We’ve been lucky to visit the past 3 years, for short breaks, it’s my favourite lodge, and we could take the puppy with us this year which was great. The lodge really is lovely, location ideal, hot tub fantastic, decked area is lovely with the view of the lake. Only thing that could improve it would be bedroom curtains for the early summer mornings . Hopefully get to visit again next year.

Summary: My self and family have used Whitecross bay for last five years. Photos online never are the same when you get there. Potters lodge was truly was. The people who owned this lodge think about everything and everyone. For us was a lovely surprise and a great week. I would recommend this lodge to anyone. I will use again. Thank you.
