Positive: An excellent property. Loads of space and great location to spend time around Bowness and Windermere.

Negative: Not a lot really. Was slightly disappointed that there was no tennis equipment even though it was advertised as having some available.

Summary: Good stay. We were fortunate to have cracking weather.

Positive: The views are stunning and the multiple reception rooms makes it great for sharing with a larger group. The house was furnished in a very welcoming way.

Negative: It would have been nice to have a few coffee pods and teas as is common in houses of this standard, however it was made clear before hand that there weren't any.

Positive: The house was absolutely amazing! We had the best start to our Christmas festivities. When we arrived, there were Christmas decorations in the house that we hadn't expected and the aga was on warming the house. The house is fantastic and allows people to be together, yet it has the space to have quiet time if needed. The hot tub is placed to allow for the most stunning views. Some of us even managed a cheeky game of tennis. The rooms were beautiful with carefully chosen decor, which made you feel like you were in a home from home.

Negative: The only thing I would say is that the pipes can be quite noisy, but it's an old house. We soon worked out that we didn't need the heating on in the evenings so the noises were no longer a problem.

Positive: Lovely position, close to the lake, close to Bowness and Windermere but still secluded.

Negative: Unable to find at least 9 tennis balls, which were hit over the fence!!

Positive: Location is outstanding and views are unbeatable. Loved the property decor and facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely reserve again and already recommended to friends and families. Close to all important tourist areas and highstreet shops.

Negative: Some toiletries could be handy to have like handwashes in the bathrooms plus shampoos/conditioners/ body wash

Summary: Wont think twice reserving it again. Simply beautiful house with extraordinary location and views.

Positive: This property is stunning, it has beautiful decor, beautiful views, the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. Kitchen is great for cooking for 10. It is approx 15 minutes walk from bowness so great location or 5 in the car. No complaints at all.
