The Villa has been crafted and lovingly restored and once used as a family home among the estate. Now it is provided with a private pool and garden with views of the immaculate woods all around. The villa has extensive outdoor spaces, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. A large porch/veranda with a dining area has commanding views of the landscape, as do the Pool. Baby equipment like a crib and high chair welcomes even the youngest visitors.Tucked into the rolling hills outside the hamlet of Orentano, the four-bedroom home has a prime location near Lucca, Pisa, San Miniato, San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, Cinque Terre, Montecatini, Pistoia and Volterra -all between a 15 and 60 mins drive away- while 25-minute drive brings you to Pisa Airport. Summary: Beautiful restored house, very clean and tidy, nice furnishings, very well equipped. The hosts are wonderful people, very kind and knowledgeable, were greeted with a bottle of wine from their own winery! Loved Drago, big beautiful dog…and Menoo the kitty! We felt the house was a bit isolated, a little too far to walk into Orentano. Road in was a bit rough but no problem for SUV’s etc. However, with that said, the house was in a beautiful serene setting with a nice firefly display at night! We thoroughly enjoyed! Summary: A fabulous house with all that we needed. The check in was easy with such a positive greeting at our arrival. All was explained with detail and efficiency. Nothing was left out. The hosts were absolutely fantastic. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Actually, we found it hard to leave. Grazie Mille to Saverio and Stefania (as well as Filippo). We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We highly recommend staying here.

Summary: We loved our 7-night stay in this stunning large country house in a woodland setting. The house is beautifully furnished with antique furniture, artwork and plants in a way that celebrates the charm of the home. The large kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed bringing Tuscan delights back to the house to make meals together. The grounds are lovely and the bravest amongst us enjoyed a dip in the pool in April! All the bedrooms were comfortable and we all slept very peacefully in this quiet, rural setting. The location is great. There are walks through the woodlands directly from the property. There's a small village a short drive away with cafe and restaurant and then a town about 10-15 minutes away that has everything you need. We really loved how easy it was to make day trips to Lucca, Cinque Terre and small hilltop towns. The host was very responsive and really wanted to make sure we had a good stay. Highly recommended.

Summary: Everything was perfect. But I will recommend that you rent a car We were a family of 7, and we always had good space. The owner of the property also have a wine yard where we had a lovely time wine-tasting good wine. I would absolutely recommend this place. We loved it! .
