Summary: we loved the attention off marcia and filippo. don't miss pizza night. everything at the house works perfectly. maybe something for the mosquitoes and flies

Summary: We stayed in this property for 11 nights and had a wonderful time. The property is exactly as shown in the pictures and the hosts were very attentive and accommodating. They left the villa stocked with some essentials which was great so we didn't need to buy the little things. There isn't much happening in the near by town of Orentano but we spent a lot of time in Lucca and really enjoyed it. Our only suggestion would be to offer a change of linens and towels part way through the stay. 11 nights is a long time without fresh sheets and towels. Overall the villa was very clean and it is in a peaceful, serene spot. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Summary: Overall, Il Conte Farmhouse was lovely and well-suited for our family (my wife, our two young adult sons, their friend, and myself) for our holiday vacation. The owners, Mariza and Fabio, and their daughters made use feel very welcome. Their hospitality is legendary. They brought over a local Prosecco for New Year's Eve and a homemade apricot tart to enjoy. Mariza took the time to explain how to work the hot tub and the washer/dryer all-in-one! They were very helpful in making reservations for dinners for our family and an an amazing dinner for just my wife and myself. This villa is managed by a third party, Lucca Apartments & Villas. Our criticism is for the third party management company only--not the house itself or the owners. Unfortunately, Loredona, the house manager, did not speak English well. We arrived at a meeting point near the home in our rented car. Loredana rushed off to the house and promptly lost us. Although, our 19 year old son was able to keep up with her! The home is located off an unmarked, unpaved dirt road, and after trying to find the house for over 30 minutes, we gave up. Eventually, our son circled back to lead us to the house. It is important to rent an all wheel drive. Loredona, the house manager, would only communicate with us via WhatsApp messages. The lack of communication with Loredana made things uncomfortable initially between us and the owners as she did not communicate the cost of services or understand the questions or requests that my wife had. Simple questions such as where is the grocery store and is it open on New Year's Eve (very close and yes). It was an unnecessarily stressful start to our family week--in fact, we were on a day trip to Pisa and Loredana was texting us non-stop about a dinner scheduled for later in the week, when we had sent numerous emails (how we were told to communicate to Loredana initially) regarding the dinner that went unanswered the previous week--we assumed since she did not respond that she could not find a chef. Surprise! We had a chef for a formal dinner scheduled the following day that although was lovely, was not what we planned. Again, the owners were gracious and accommodating. We gave Il Conte Farmhouse 4 stars because the hospitality of the owners far outweighed the lack of communication on the part of Lucca Apartments & Villas and their employees.

Summary: I don’t often review booking agencies but this is an exception. Lucca Apartments and Villas took our payment for our dream Italian holiday before Covid. When Covid arrived and our country, Australia, locked us away from the world LA&V allowed us to keep this holiday in credit. We waited 2 years to take this holiday and during that time the agency kept us totally up to date and informed. 6 months before we were to finally take the holiday our Villa was cancelled due to the bad health of the owner! We panicked but the team at LA&V quickly found another property that was easily better than our original. We finally enjoyed a fabulous holiday in Farmhouse retreat il Conte and our entire stay was faultless. I completely recommend this company for professionalism and being totally trustworthy…… even in the face of a pandemic….. they were amazing.

Summary: Probably the best Airbnb we have stay in. amazing location in the Tuscan countryside, secluded for the quiet days by the pool but close enough to drive to all the attractions Tuscany has to offer. The villa it's self is stunning, everything is new and high end and the outside space is perfect. The pictures really do this place justice. The owner and the host were great and made the process very easy with lots of nice little touches. They made our daughter very welcome. 100% we will be back.

Summary: We stayed in this stunning property for 56 days! You can imagine after this length of time we would understand this property very well. There is not one thing to fault. The interiors are beautiful with the original structure restored and perfectly balanced with tasteful chandeliers and hand painted walls. The kitchen has everything you would need. Every room has individual air conditioning. The swimming pool is almost half Olympic size and perfect for exercise or relaxation. The grounds are enormous and fully fenced for security! It was difficult to leave this peaceful setting but when we did, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno and Florence are all within an easy drive. Villa Conte is in walking distance of Orentano. A small Italian village that boasts one of the best traditional Tuscan trattoria in the area. It also has a small butcher, baker and convenience store . Lastly and most importantly our hosts Marzia and Fabio were super, even organising a doctor and medications when my wife had an ear infection. Wonderful hosts! We can’t wait to return

Summary: Posto incantevole. Perfetto per due famiglie con bambini. La Proprietà è completamente chiusa! I bambini possono giocare all’esterno in completa libertà. Tutto curato nei minimi particolari, con prodotti di ottima qualità. Check-in veloce e accoglienza eccellente. Grazie a Marzia e Loredana per averci fatto sentire a casa.
