During the Second World War, this estate stood as an example of harmony and solidarity, surviving through a coexistence of obligations, rights, and duties, while keeping traditions alive even in the most difficult times."Barghini" is not just the name of the street where Villa del Nonno stands; it also represents the connection with my father's uncle, the local "Lord" of the village who allowed my grandfather and his family to live in this house, expressing the desire that it be cared for and passed down to his favourite nephew, my father Cesare, the grandfather of my children.
