Positive: This a good hotel which is made better by the SUPERB STAFF... I would give them more stars I could. They didn't stop smiling and nothing was too much trouble for them. The bar and restaurant areas are lovely - well designed and light and airy, which was an added bonus during the heat! Breakfast is super - a good range of food and drinks.

Negative: The rooms are a bit faded, but nothing to really complain about. Just little things like extractor fans in bathroom not working etc. Minor details.

Negative: Lift was inoperative and not repaired during our stay however a minor inconvenience.

Positive: Breakfast was great. Traditional English breakfast. Plenty of tea and coffee. Great location for views. Staff were very polite, courteous and attentive. Very relaxed atmosphere. Ate once in the hotel in the evening . Meal was excellent

Negative: One small issue was the small cups and saucers for tea in the morning. I would prefer a mug.
