Positive: Support and friendliness from staff, e.g carrying luggage up and dlown from my third floor room (no lift); excellent choice at breakfast; gardens are lovely with lots of hidden seating areas, great lounges
Negative: i was disappointed with the evening menu- no veg really and not much helathy food on offer- a bit pricey too.

Positive: Only a 10 minute walk from the seafront, though it is a steep walk back to the hotel from the seafront. Room was well presented and the bed was comfortable with a ensuite which met our expectations, though would not be described as luxurious Breakfast, quality and choices were superb and staff very attentive to dietary and other needs
Summary: If I were visiting Guernsey again, I would certainly book this hotel again; very nice

Positive: Good value, great views from the garden and it's up a hill so if you walk from the Esplanade, it gives your heart a good workout. I would happily stay there next time.

Negative: Single bed was tiny. On top of steep hill and no lift in building. I had to go down 3 flights of stairs for breakfast
