Negative: The only drawback was the location. It is quite a walk in to the centre of the town.

Positive: All the kitchen tools and other things were there for us. Heating came on when we needed it. It was quiet. There were good showers in each bathroom.

Negative: A draining rack in the kitchen would have been helpful. The bath tap did not run hot so my friend brought hot water from the kitchen to fill the bath. A shame because we walked a lot and hot baths would have helped us. The TV was JUST loud enough for me to hear with difficulty. Was that to protect other apartments maybe? I was a bit too hot in bed. Could have done with a summer quilt.

Positive: Friendly welcome and our room was ready several hours early. Loads of space in the apartment - very comfortable. Handy for local bus service which is excellent. A half hour walk into town, but we were glad of the walk back up the hill after our evening meals. You will likely be greeted by a very friendly ginger cat. The weather was unseasonably warm for late October and almost 20degC for the first few days. The nights were mild and rarely saw less than 15degC. So much to see and do. Boat trips to Sark and Herm definitely not to be missed. Amazing seafood in town too!

Negative: Really couldn't fault the place at all.

Summary: A wonderful week one of the highlights of our holiday calendar for 2024!

Positive: Well equipped, comfortable, well laid out. The shower was a decent size with excellent water pressure a good constant temperature.There is also a separate bathroom with bath. The grounds were well kept also the outdoor pool was warm and clean.
