Summary: We found the staff exceedingly polite and helpful. Our suitcase was carried to the second floor for us and our problem with the TV was looked into immediately. The room was large and beautifully appointed with an excellent view over the garden and the valley. We were impressed by the evening dinner and had high hopes for breakfast. That night we felt we had made a good choice of hotel and were seriously contemplating booking into one of the sister hotels in the future. These plans are now on hold as we found that the breakfast offer was rather on the mean side and when I mentioned this at checkout I was told that that was a company decision. I appreciate that the breakfast was included in the room price and the menu had a reasonable choice of hot meals however, there was no fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread/toast jam let alone pastries on offer. These little touches make for a full breakfast experience and were what we had expected and have always found in most hotels and certainly in a hotel of this quality. It may seem a small issues but for us it is a deal breaker.

Summary: Beautifully located and well kept old school Manor House brough up to speed. Fantastic staff that couldn’t do enough for you. Really enjoyed my stay and for sure will be back

Summary: Super 2 days in a great spot. Delicious breakfast and we ate at the hotel both evenings. Good choice of food. Averagely priced. Comfortable room but pillows a bit too firm for me. Very pleasant and attentive staff
