Summary: From arrival to departure... the experience was wonderful! We stayed in the three shepherds huts which are beautifully updated to a very high standard. Dinner was DELISH as was breakfast. AVOID paying via hotels.com because it caused serious checkout problems... but NOT the fault of The Plough Inn -- WE LOVED IT!

Summary: A lovely location to stay for a few days walking. Owners and staff welcoming and friendly, good food, breakfast & evening, good service. Shepherds huts are clean, warm & cosy. Within good distance for both Chatsworth House & Bakewell also good walks from the inn. I had a very pleasant stay, thank you to the staff.

Summary: Myself & three friends stayed here for the weekend. I stayed in room 7 & was so pleased when I entered my room. A lovely spacious bedroom & a gorgeous upstairs bathroom - cute!
