Positive: Great location just a short walk from lots of places to eat, cinema, theatre, shops and the park by the river. The flat was newly refurbished with all new furniture, kitchen, flooring, paintwork. Very clean and tidy.

Negative: Immediately behind the door right next to the bed is a fitness studio with a 06:30 session, including pounding music and shouts from the instructor! We're early risers, but tough luck if you want to sleep in. The instructions say to park in Nelson Street, but you either need a resident's parking permit (we got a £35 parking fine for not having one) or you can only park there for up to 3 hours. You have to park several streets away and walk back. You have to go down very steep stairs to get to the bathroom. I held the (too short) bannister with both hands and went down sideways. The fridge stops buzzing if you take all the shelves out.

Summary: Nice new loft flat in a great location with two serious drawbacks: parking and noisy neighbours!

Negative: The stairs are horrendously steep with the handrail finishing at the second stair from the top. I managed to get up the last2 steps by hanging onto the horizontal banister on the right. This would not have been a problem except that the bathroom was downstairs at the street door. We are in our mid 70s and need the loo in the night now unfortunately! The light switch at the bottom of the stairs is loose as is the hand rail holder screwed into wall at the bottom of the stairs! There is a double looped coil of electric? Cable unsecured on the skirting board under the window in the bedroom section. No fixed shaving mirror in the bathroom( we found a wandering one upstairs). In adequate lighting over sink area - one of the light fitments s falling out. Could you highlight loo downstairs in your details please?

Positive: Everything you needed for a self catering stay. We had 7 nights Feb25. Really, lovely and comfortable in a fabulous location. High street with everything you needed is a 2min walk.

Negative: The fitness studio next door. The studio has an adjoining door separating the 2 rooms. So not a separate building to the Loft. Music / people could be heard throughout the day, the earliest being 6:30am!

Summary: We would 100% stay here again if the fitness studio was not there. We had a lovely stay overall
