Positive: Tempting to say a Midget Gem, but that really doesn’t do Candy Cottage justice. Everything has been carefully chosen to make this an exceptional place to stay in Yorkshire - from the fresh milk & orange juice on arrival, together with the log burner set to light. We had never stayed in Addingham before, but it’s a welcoming village with all the facilities you might need, great walks, and an ideal base for Skipton, Ilkley, Saltaire etc. We certainly plan to return. Whilst we didn’t need the honesty Yorkshire Hamper of goodies - it’s another indication of how well the property is run. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Positive: I loved the location on Main Street, just near a bus stop and great pub. The cottage was very cosy and warm, would come again! Great location for some lovely walks nearby.

Positive: The cottage was amazing, the place was set up beautifully, clean and had a great homie feel. The amenities were fab , the beds were comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our weekend away. Close to a couple of pubs and the local co-op all in walking distance. Booked as we had a wedding nearby at Bolton Abby and it was perfect for getting ready and relaxing the day before.

Negative: Not really a dislike but a smart TV downstairs would be nice but definitely not a big deal.

Summary: 10/10 had a lovely girls trip!

Positive: Good location, gateway to many of the Dales features. Good selection of pubs in the village. Indian takeaway a few doors down. Cottage was compact but clean and well equipped, nicely finished. Beds were comfy. Nice touches such as milk and orange juice in the fridge on arrival.

Negative: TV was difficult to work out. Fluffier and bigger towels would have felt more luxurious.
