Positive: This was our second visit. Beautiful location right by the moors, very attractive accommodation, friendly owner, comfortable and clean property.

Negative: It would be nice to be able to control the heating ourselves, rather than having to ask the owner. FOR US (it need not apply to other people) we now feel that the location is too remote - the narrow track up to the property can be difficult, and it would also be difficult for an ambulance. It can be excessively cold and blowy (I mean literally off your feet) climbing the steep stone steps to the door. Despite knowing the flat, we managed to bash our heads yet again on the very low bedroom ceiling!

Summary: Glorious views, cosy. comfortable

Positive: The property was amazing with all facilities for a short stay. The place was spotless and very comfortable. The property is situated on top of a hill up a very private track and the views are amazing. If you like walking you are in heaven. A morning chore might be reuniting a lamb with its mother as I had to do when it managed to jump over a gate capped off with having some Eggs which were laid by the Hens situated at the end of the garden! I was welcomed by the host who was very helpful and was in hand if required (not necessary). The drive to the near town off Ilkley is spectacular and the local pub “The Herman Inn” is a must. I spent 6 nights at the property and really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the Yorkshire moors.

Negative: No Washing Machine. The steps upto the property may cause issues with people who are unsteady and the shower is over the Bath (nice shower but again people unsteady on their feet may struggle getting into the shower) A handle is situated at the side of the bath.

Summary: Magical in all aspects.

Positive: The Hayloft had everything we needed and more! The bed is very comfortable. The property is warm. The setting is right next to the edge of the moor and I loved seeing the curlews and a barn owl. It is only 5 miles from Ilkley which is a great town to visit and Wharfedale has some great walks.

Positive: A great spot near the moors! We had a very comfortable stay despite the very windy winter weather that prevented us from taking a walk on the moors nearby. The Hayloft is very cosy, we lit the fireplace a couple of times, and just snuggled up on the sofa. Everything is well appointed with an eye for beauty. We fully recommend it, and will be very happy to return on another visit to our friends and family who live locally. Just note that a car is a must as it is remote in the countryside, but that's what attracted us.

Negative: Nothing!

Positive: It was just perfect. Wonderfully equipped, comfortable, full of character, warm and cosy. The owners have thought of ever. It is positioned right on the edge of the Moor.

Negative: Nothing, perhaps if you are very tall you might find the bedroom ceiling being low a challenge.

Summary: I had the most oerfect stay in this fabulous little apartment and I can’t rate it highly enough.
