Positive: Ilkley is a lovely place. The Smithy is in an ideal location just a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants. There is ample parking at the front of the property, off road so no worries there. It is such a beautiful, comfortable place to stay. The apartment is finished to a VERY high standard, there is everything you need - spotlessly clean. The pictures actually don't do the place justice! The bed is the most comfortable I've ever stayed in, so much so that I asked Will (the owner) where it was from, and I've bought the exact same one for our spare room at home! Will is so nice and helpful, very quick to respond to any questions. We had the pleasure of meeting him and his gorgeous baby girl 🥰 You won't find better so don't hesitate to book. We'll be back.

Positive: The apartment has everything you need including Wi-Fi and TV apps. The hosts were very approachable and provided drink-making provisions and snacks. The apartment is light, easy to ventilate, warm and roomy with a view of the hills.

Negative: The apartment is on the first floor via a staircase which needs to be taken into account for those with limited mobility.

Positive: Good location. Great to have parking. Comfortable in every way and owners across road very welcoming, generous and helpful.

Negative: TV didn’t do live channels. We managed to cast from our iPad but others may not have that facility. We wanted to watch England euro game and Tour de France and had to think laterally

Positive: Ideal location just a short walk from the town center with lots of lovely bars and restaurants and a train station to get to Leeds if you want to visit. Only half an hours walk from the Cow and Calf rocks.

Negative: Nothing to fault in this property, it was absolutely perfect for me.

Summary: An absolute haven after a stressful drive across the Pennines. Like a home away from home. Fabulous.
