Positive: 100% with all the other comments, the host family is super lovely!! They really took care of me, replying super quickly by text if I had any question. The room and bathroom were extra clean, with so much space and own private garden. Monkeys are coming around the house every morning (they never even tried to steal my breakfast - these are sweet monkeys). The local breakfast was sooo good Everything is pretty much walking distance (about 15-20min walk from the main beach of Hiri - you can have a shortcut through the best restaurant). I didnt need to rent a scooter and ended up walking everywhere in town

Positive: Loved staying with this wonderful family. The room was spacious and the bed was huge, the AC was fantastic and I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The family made the whole stay so much more special. I was lucky enough to have dinner cooked for me and even joined in with some of the preparation which was really fun. They welcomed me in and even gave me a sweet nickname while I stayed!! I would recommend staying here to everyone. They will look after you, feed you well and you’ll feel a part of their home. Thank you so much 💘🫶 always your Chuty xxx

Positive: Would definitely go there again! One of the nicest stays of our holidays. From the first moment we arrived, Rasa and his family welcomed us so warm we immediately felt at home. They were all very happy to help us with anything, making our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was always very nice and varied day by day. (We were also supprised with something special for Sri Lankan New years. So lovely!) The place is 15-20 mins walking to the beach, but for us, it was worth it because we were in a quieter area with still plenty of options to have dinner around. The place really looked like in the pictures. Also, a tip is that you can ask the host to drive you with his tuk tuk in case you come by bus to Dikwella.

Positive: A lovely family runs the accommodation, with two sweet daughters and a very helpful son. Guests have their own small garden, and the room is very modern, clean, and equipped with everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious, and we felt very comfortable. The location is also excellent; it's quiet, yet you can easily walk to Blue Beach or Hiriketiya Beach. The side streets are a bit dark at night, so I would recommend taking a scooter or tuk-tuk.

Positive: The family is super nice and welcoming. The room is very clean and big, and the bathroom is quite new and clean. The little garden in front is so nice. The father of the family is a driver, so he can arrange a drive to you if needed. They have two cute and adorable dogs...

Positive: Our accommodation was a 10/10! Breakfast was super healthy (we took western one with homemade omelette, plenty of fruits, bread with marmalade and butter and coffee ) and delicious and you have options to choose from. Room was super clean and comfy for two persons and had everything we need. Location is very relaxing and in the nature and if you want to go to the beach you can take tuk tuk or walk apr 15mins. Communication was very good and helpful through all our days there. Highly recommend for a pleasant stay in sri lanka which is not the easiest thing to find.

Positive: Rasa Homestay was in the most perfect location in Hiri, if you are like us and you like to be away from the hustle, bustle and music but want to be in walking distance to everything the place has to offer, then you’ll love this location. The family couldn’t have been more accommodating, making us delicious breakfasts every morning. The room and bathroom were really modern and extremely clean. Worth mentioning is how hot the room got everyday, there is a fan but even with windows open, we struggled to cool down. Not the family’s fault at all but worth saying.

Positive: The breakfast was good and the family running the place was nice. We had booked three nights (paid for them of course), but changed our plans after one night.

Negative: Located on top of a hill so be prepared to climb, it's also a bit hard to find. No air conditioning and you couldn't keep the window open at night because of the mosquitoes so it was really hot and damp.
