Positive: Very friendly receptionist .. very helpful and smily. Amazing care of our comfort and took good care of our luggage and car.

Negative: No real coffee machine in the rooms.

Positive: The Platzl is the best hotel in Munich. The staff, especially Peter, are generous with their time and know,edge. Room was excellent. Great beds! Breakfast is fantastic. And, the location is perfect for your stay in Old Town. Great restaurants within a five minute walk. Marienplatz station is only 5 minutes away. This will be our go to in Munich.

Positive: Amazing location right near all the top attractions and restaurants. Comfortable spacious rooms, and really lovely and helpful staff.

Negative: The only thing is that the duvets aren’t wide enough - they don’t hang over the side of the bed at all. With two people in the bed, someone is always having the covers pulled off of them.

Positive: The Platzl Hotel exceeded my expectations in just about every way. The staff is helpful, responsive, and very friendly. The location of the hotel just can't be beat - right in the heart of Old Town, steps from the Hofbrauhaus and many other restaurants. The rooms are a little on the small side, which I believe is typical for European hotels, but very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the controls for the AC/Heat were easy to use, and there were plenty of outlets to charge our devices. The smart TV was a pleasant bonus! We checked in early, around 10am, and they found a room for us - another very pleasant surprise. After an overnight flight, being able to immediately go to our room to freshen up was very much appreciated. The bar area is cozy and inviting, and the barista and bartenders were always pleasant and welcoming. I just can't say enough good things about this hotel. This will be our #1 choice of hotels whenever we come back to Munich. Don't waste time searching for other hotels, trying to save a few $$. Make the most of your trip and stay here - you won't regret it.
