Positive: We had a lovely few day at the O2 Villas Yala, The villa was comfortable and met all our needs. We ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings, and the food was great. Breakfasts were fabulous, including the take away breakfast that we had for our safari day. All the staff were incredibly helpful and warm. The manager, Lahiru, was exceptional at managing our stay , answering any queries we might have promptly and efficiently. I would also like to mention Sanjay who took us down to the beach for sunset. He was very informative. The location is excellent for Yala.
Negative: Maybe a parasol in the pool area would be useful. I also feel that the cost of the bonfire set up was excessive.
Summary: Great location. Very comfortable and wonderful staff

Positive: We had an absolutely fantastic stay at O2 Villas Yala. Our private pool villa was beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery—the perfect place to relax after our safari. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, and every member of staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel also organised a fantastic safari for us, which was seamless from start to finish. A real highlight was the special dinner they arranged by the bonfire, which made for such a memorable evening. We also loved our buggy trip at sunset to see wildlife by the local lake and beautiful sunset over the sand dunes - an experience we won't forget. A wonderful place with outstanding hospitality—we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!
Negative: NA- everything was excellent

Positive: I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves the 5 stars 👏🏽 everything from the rooms, the facilities, the cleanliness, the restaurants, the staff and especially the manager was top class. The current 9.6 rating on booking doesn’t do it justice, it deserves a solid 10…this is coming from someone that has travelled to over 40 countries in the world and stayed at probably over a 1000 hotels in my lifetime. I highly recommend this place :) Thank you again! 😄

Positive: My entire family LOVED this hotel and we were sad to leave. The family suite was gorgeous and so well appointed. We loved the attached pool, the indoor/outdoor shower, and so much more. We had dinner in the restaurant and the ultimate highlight of our stay was the golf cart safari and purple sand beach adventure. Staff was fantastic and of course our safari in Yala was incredible. Highly recommend this gorgeous place.
Summary: The ultimate in luxury and sustainable safari stays!

Negative: Everything was very good and the staff were so friendly and helpful at all times! However, the AC in the room was terrible and we suffered as we had our baby with us and most of the time it was warm and humid as the AC was not working properly or not enough for the big villa. Otherwise everything was absolutely amazing, Suresh I believe his name is was extremely helpful and sweet and showed us around the hotel and crocodile lake and even went with us to the safari which we truly appreciated!
