Positive: Very nice location in the middle of nature (no houses/restaurants nearby), restaurant with incredible amount of choice, very nice pool and friendly staff

Negative: Rather expensive experience. The safari organized by the hotel is overpriced but we were very lucky and had a superbe volunteer guide with us (not organised by the hotel) and saw two leopards

Positive: We had the most amazing time at Cinnamon Wild Yala. The property is right outside Yala National Park, which means that crocodiles, water buffalo, and even elephants are roaming around right by where you stay. The staff were absolutely amazing - special mention to Sameera, Jayani, Ishani, Roshani and Sada. They were all so hospitable and kind. The food was fantastic too, every meal was a treat. A big recommendation and thank you to Chinthaka who was our wildlife guide on the two safaris we booked through the hotel. He was so knowledgeable and ensured we had the best time. He was an amazing tracker and found us multiple leopards, elephants, crocodiles and amazing birds. We were sad to leave and definitely will be coming back.

Negative: Nothing bad to say about this place.

Positive: Food was nice, at the restaurant there were a very friendly staff.

Negative: In the night around 10 p.m I, requested the reception to arrange a safari jeep for us to go to the park, they discussed and tolde 120 USD per foreigner, we had 2 foreigners and I agreed with there price, (387500lkr per person) me and driver free of charge. In the morning they have not arranged it, when I went to have breakfast at 8.30 they new shift receptionist didn't knew anything and they have not arranged it in the morning, so I told them I will get it from outside and we got a jeep for 15000 lkr. But we didn't have much time at the park as they close at 12 noon. I'm disappointed and unhappy about it.

Positive: Fantastic hotel. Beautiful luxury cottages in the middle of nature. Professional staff. We did a half-afternoon safari after arrival and a full-day safari the next day. Arranged by the hotel. Saw a lot of animals, including a bear, many elephants, and six leopards!! Very large and nice swimming pool. We really enjoyed ourselves to the fullest here. The food is also of a high standard.
