Positive: Location was amazing if you are looking for a slice of peace. Far from town but easy enough to get there, very close to the park so get a sleep in before the safari. Beautiful facilities and staff. Stunning views for a firelite dinner under the night sky and then escaping to the jungle for a good nights rest in their luxury air conditioned tents. Enjoy reading on your balconey while observing local neighbors like peacocks and chipmunks. You may even see some monkeys or elephants about! Safety is paramount and help is a quick call away, very attentive staff with great attention to detail and anticipated my every need. Recommend doing a full day safari to get the most out of Yala and checking out the local town for bird watching and a nice stroll around the lake. Bring your sunscreen and bug spray! Happy travels🙂

Negative: Wifi was ok in the room (good in the common areas) which just stopped me from making the error of working!

Negative: breakfast was very slow to appear. not a lot to do except for visits to Yala park.

Positive: 10/10 experience. Outstanding service in a remote and beautiful place. The team organised jeep safari into the national park, authentic cooking class and bush safari walk with a guide from the hotel. The chef provided the best local cuisine and asked for preferences at all meals. The tent units where completely new, very luxury, spacious and well equipped. Great communication with the team assisiting with everything. Royal treatment and highly recommend for Yala visitors. Great value for money.

Positive: This hotel was absolutely unforgettable and one of the most special places I have ever stayed. Located right next to the national park in Sri Lanka, it offers a unique experience of luxury surrounded by pure nature. We stayed in an exclusive tent set inside the park, which felt truly magical — falling asleep to the sounds of nature and waking up in such a peaceful environment was something special. The hotel also organized a private safari with a professional naturalist, Srinath, which was an incredible experience and allowed us to truly connect with the wildlife and surroundings. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel cared for at every moment. The food was delicious, and the cocktails prepared by Sasanka were absolutely amazing — some of the best we had during our trip. Special thanks to Dhinuk, who took care of everything perfectly and made our stay seamless and stress-free. I also celebrated my birthday there, and it was beautifully organized with many thoughtful surprises from the staff. I will never forget that birthday or this stay. This place is not just a hotel, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly unique.

Positive: Glamping where the owners and staff wants you to feel like kings and queens. Best food we had in sri lanka. Great tent, tidy, clean and luxurious. Remote location as if you were inside the park, you hear a lot of animals around.

Negative: Bumpy road leading to this remote location makes it slightly harder to get in and get out on your own (though you get full assistance from the staff).
