Positive: I am obsessed with this adorable boutique hotel. The styling is perfect! The room was spacious, loved the bathroom, a small garden out back to relax and the staff was so kind. The location is great too. 10/10 Highly recommend

Positive: The hotel is beautiful - it's in a lovely part of Utrecht, in a beautiful building, and has huge amounts of historic character nicely offset with some quirky modern touches. The rooms are fabulous, making the most of the old building's charm while providing great facilities such as comfy beds and great showers. The website is excellent and gives you a really good idea of what the rooms look like - although the photos make the rooms look smaller than they are! The staff are lovely too.

Negative: The carillon in the centre of Utrecht is very famous, but it chimes away on the hour, quarter past, half past, and quarter to, 24 hours a day, That can be quite annoying for light sleepers in the early hours of the morning. It must be the same for any hotel in central Utrecht. Hotel Beijers very thoughtfully provides ear plugs, which were useful.

Negative: Staff was curt, there was no open reception 24/7 as announced on the website, keys to front door of hotel didn't work, called off-site reception by phone but person on the line wasn't very helpful, basically telling me I should try harder, luckily another guest let me in.
