This is a great base if you want to explore popular coastal Suffolk but return to somewhere that feels incredibly rural and peaceful.
Honeypot Cottage retains a number of original features including exposed beams and brickwork, but is also well-equipped to make your stay comfortable. A very practical home, Honeypot Cottage has a double and twin bedroom, and an upstairs bathroom with bath and shower options.

Summary: We have just returned from a fantastic 1 week stay in Honeypot cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It is at the end of a country road so the only noise is from birds and the occasional tractor and the views from the front accross to the river are wonderful. It is in a great location for exploring that part of Suffolk. We can highly recommend the walk from the cottage to Felixstowe Ferry, if you want to go further you can carry on to Old Felixstowe and then to Felixstowe itself. I would not hestitate it recommending this delightful cottage!

Summary: Nice quiet location, situated at the end of a working farmhouse property. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Albeit somewhat dated inside, the property was clean, comfortable and perfect for a relaxing week in the Suffolk countryside.

Summary: This was our first visit to Suffolk and eagerly awaited due to Covid restrictions. We were delighted with Suffolk ,quiet country lanes for cycling and well signposted walks in delightful countryside. We visited Woodbridge and Felixstowe and enjoyed both. The sun shone every day, but it was still a bit cold for April swimming. Our cottage was warm, comfortable and well appointed and the provision of a bath as well as a shower was a bonus. Theresa was a welcoming and helpful host. Thankyou.
