Summary: Lovely place to stay-granted not the most luxurious hotel you’ll ever stay in but what it lacks here is made up for by the friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Felixstowe for a night away

Summary: Used this hotel several times, the worse room we have ever had! Saying that the best bathroom, newly refurbished. Only downfall, no shaver/elec toothbrush charging socket! The room had no wardrobe. It was unbearably hot in cool weather. Even with the window opened. View not the best! You then heard the extremely loud extractor fan vent from 6.30am-10.30pm! No sockets near a mirror to use the hairdryer. We requested to be moved but they couldn't accomdate us. Chain restaurant nice but poor choice for those not liking burgers, pizza or Indian. Breakfast extremely poor!

Summary: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a fantastic stay at The Orwell Hotel in Felixstowe! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome, and the level of customer service was outstanding throughout. A special mention has to go to Rob and Alfie, who were absolutely exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always with a smile, a friendly attitude, and a genuine willingness to help. They are a real credit to the hotel and made our stay even more memorable. The hotel itself is full of character, with comfortable, well-maintained rooms and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotless, and it was clear that the team takes great pride in looking after their guests. If you're looking for a hotel in Felixstowe that combines great hospitality with excellent service, I can't recommend The Orwell Hotel highly enough. Thanks again to Rob, Alfie, and the whole team—we'll definitely be back!
