Summary: As long as you have a car you’re sorted. Owners are friendly but not invasive, & full of recommendations. The cottage had everything we needed and made a great retreat post-lockdown. The kids loved playing in the garden, I enjoyed sitting in the shade of the trees enjoying the peace. Lots to do only a short drive, whether it’s the beach at Felixstowe, we went kayaking at waldringfield, or exploring around Woodbridge. Or you can make use of the many footpaths/ trails literally from the gate of the property. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: The Coach house is a wonderful place to escape to, away from everything but close enough to sea side and shops in Felixstowe when needed. The cottage is an excellent find , comfortable, peaceful and relaxing! But best of all was the welcome and support we received from the family, it was just like going to stay with friends for a week! The venue is perfect for families with dogs. We have happy memories of walks through the lime trees in the garden to the footpaths to the river Deben. Would we go again?.....of course!

Summary: Stay was July 26th to August 3rd 2019. My only disappointment is that we didn't book two weeks instead of the one. The cottage owners are the most helpful, caring and kindest hosts we have ever met. The boys, Maxi the Staffie and Booboosh the Terrier loved it with lots of walks and local wildlife to run away from!! They don't have much of their wolf like ancestry showing through being big softies. The cottage is a dream in a dream like location. We are going back in September and cannot wait. Many many many many thanks to the owners for looking after us so well.

Summary: Very comfortable cottage in an idyllic location. Owners were very welcoming and had a wealth of local knowledge which was a great help planning our days out. The enclosed patio area was especially good and safe for my dog. Only down side is there is no local shop/pub so you have to drive out for food and essentials, but that is no reflection on the cottage. You just have to be organised on your days out and remember to shop before you return. I would highly recommend The Coach House and can not wait to book our next stay.

Summary: Idyllic, rural surroundings with lovely small + very popular smokehouse cafe within easy walking distance. Fantastic doggy pubs and historic attractions within driving distance. Very friendly owners with invaluable advice on local attractions and how to find them. Coach House set in extensive grounds leading to beautiful rural walks along fields towards the coats and ferry at Old Felixtow. Excellent location for our energetic Border Collie - he has been very relaxed and enjoyed himself enormously - and so have we.
