Positive: The hosts were very kind and genuine.. Could not have been more helpful. Even took me to town to get a Sim card upon arrival. There are two rooms and a common area. Both rooms are yours, so you don't share the common area with anyone else. The hillside roads are wonderful for morning and evening walks. Tooth relic temple is about 30 minute walk. Kandy lake under 15 minutes. On the walk back, there are plenty of tuktuks waiting to take you 1 km up the hill for 150 -200 LKR. It is a very friendly neighborhood. Some fancy hotels nearby, but mostly simple concrete homes with plenty of unfinished construction. The family also sells drinking water. Very good value . Sad to go.

Negative: There is some traffic noise, especially with the morning school tuktuks. I stayed almost two weeks snd didn't notice it after the second morning or so. The driveway is steep and there are stairs, so it may not be easy for a less mobile person.
