Positive: The beds are big and towels are provided which is good. There was aircon and a fan so could pick depending on what we needed. Was great to have a huge drinking water jug available. It feels private and we never saw anyone else use the pool. Nice seating area outside the room too. Kitchen is well stocked so we could do some cooking. Spacious living room too. Staff are friendly too

Negative: The pool was a bit cold but refreshing if you’ve been out in the heat. There were some ants in the living room but nothing too major.

Positive: Danushka, the host, was so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble.The apartment was spacious, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Having a private pool was great and the views were amazing. The apartment is in a good location, just a few kilometres from Kandy town, which we were glad of, as the traffic and number of people in Kandy was crazy! The bakery across the road, which also serves hot food, was a place we frequented regularly! We found getting the local bus into Kandy was easy from near the apartment. It dropped off around the lake, including right next to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth relic or could go further into town..

Negative: We found the beds too hard for our liking, but appreciate that different people like different mattress types.

Positive: Stunning location, with a great view towards a giant Buddha statue. Good sized apartment with a couple of big bedrooms, and some comfy couches. Staff were phenomenal, picking us up from the station and organising rides for us, and even washing our clothes for us!

Negative: The whole kitchen area is in need of an update, and there are a few ants and other insects that seem to have made a home there. There’s a little mould around the lining of the fridge.

Positive: Beautiful setting with really nice views. Very comfortable with two bedrooms and a fully functioning kitchen. The pool was nice too, we managed to get one swim even in December. Danush was very helpful, they did our laundry and helped with all the questions and getting a tuk tuk into town.

Negative: Beds were a bit creaky, but good size and comfy otherwise.

Positive: Comfortable apartment. Very nice outside area with private pool. About 10 min ride by tuk-tuk to center. Little clean bakery/ restaurant in couple min walk. Functional AC. Great and very nice host that came to pick us up from train station and gave us complimentary laundry service. He helped with all requests we had. Felt safe and comfortable.

Negative: Our subjective experience only- Not enough functional sockets. Ants and bugs inside the house (ground floor and the pool). No hooks in the bathroom for towels or clothes. Surely these are minor things that can be fixed in no time.
