Positive: We loved the hillside location outside of Kandy. It wasn’t entirely quiet, but certainly quieter, and less busy than downtown Kandy. We also loved the hospitality and the food that was served! They make a fabulous breakfast and they are flexible for dinner requests made with 3 hours notice. You do not have to hunt for restaurants when you stay here. The owners. They are so kind and friendly and helpful. Even after two nights, it was a little hard to leave. The outdoor shower :)

Negative: Nothing, really. The Wi-Fi could be faster but I have tried much worse.

Summary: An awesome, great value for money villa with a view over Knuckes Mountain Range.

Positive: The staff in this hotel absolutely make it! They are an absolute delight and look after you so much! The food is perfect and I would definitely recommend having dinner there one night! The breakfast is massive! Rooms lovely, view incredible!

Negative: The only issue is the location, it was sometimes difficult to get a Tuk Tuk to take me back to the hotel as it is right in the hills, as a female solo traveller this became an issue at night, but I just offered to pay more and eventually got a Tuk Tuk! But totally worth it!

Positive: Suranji and Aruna have been so kind to us and our toddler, they made us feel at home, preparing special meals for him. The place is a bit far from Kandy, in a quiet area, with lovely views.

Negative: Curtains do not shield you from the sun, so if you are light sensitive, you might wake up at 6 am.

Positive: We had an excellent stay! The host was extremely friendly and hospitable, always ready to help with anything we needed. The views were absolutely wonderful. The property has aged a bit since the photos were taken, but it is still very clean. The location can be a bit challenging to find and reach, but booking transfers and tours directly with the host made everything much easier. Highly recommend!
