Positive: While simple, this was one of the most amazing places I've stayed. You will need to walk 45 minutes from Valbone to get there, but it takes you right to the trail head, meaning a shorter hike to Theth the next day. Affiliated Emanueli Restaurant is about 10 minutes away with food, drinks, warmth and wifi. Free breakfast was good. The best part about the place was the peaceful location and views.

Positive: Fantastic location in Rragam. Bit tricky to get there (bit of hiking on foot), but its right in the middle of the valley on the trail. Very few tourist. Great room, there is hot water, electricity. I stayed solo two nights (did Maja Jezerce from here - good starting point). They have a restaurant 5 minutes far from here, where they serve the breakfast (fantastic brekfast) and lunch/dinner if needed, there is also wifi. Very authentic. I wish i stayed more days. Thank you very much

Negative: Only downside maybe there is no wifi but maybe thats a pro!

Positive: Location and environment was excellent. Right at the start of the trek but also with a really exceptional atmosphere and view. Genuine family run home stay, with what may be the happiest ever chickens, goats, pigs. Homemade honey is excellent. Accommodation is everything you need, comfortable and clean, while basic. Food is also no frills but good quality and largely home grown and home made. Daughter speaks excellent English and the mother is very friendly. Excellent value for money and very pleasant.

Positive: The food at the restaurant was very nice and fresh, the maze was particularly good. The location was also great after a day of hiking and had amazing views

Positive: A perfect stop on the Valbona-Theth hike! The location is peaceful and remote, ideal for soaking in the beauty of the mountains. The house is idyllic, with a lovely bench outside where you can relax and take in the serene atmosphere. I had a mountain view right from our window, which made the stay even more special. The host was warm and welcoming, and the room was simple but very nice and comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner in the nearby cafe were absolutely delicious. As mentioned in the description, there is no WiFi but network connection was good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, authentic experience in the Albanian Alps.

Negative: there is no heating but an electric heater is provided. It was not a problem but something to keep in mind off season
