Positive: This was the best place we stayed during our trip in Albania! The room was lovely, clean, and modern. Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful, and the family who hosted us was warm and welcoming. The location is also perfect, making it easy to explore the area. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Positive: This is a very nice place to stay, with the charm of a cute little farm. The family is extremely welcoming, and the daughter’s English is phenomenal. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, the beds were very good, and the dinner was both tasty and affordable. The man of the house can even drive you to the starting point of the Valbona–Teth hike for a fair price, which saves you a two-hour walk over a dry riverbed. All in all, this was one of the most charming places we stayed during our 14-day trip through Albania. Highly recommended!

Negative: We had some problems finding the location via google maps. But if you open the location in booking.com then you’ll find it :)

Positive: Super friendly staff, lovely room and a welcome cup of coffee that was much needed after the hike! A good breakfast was included and great dinner for just €10. Beautiful location and views with the sounds of the farm to fall asleep to!

Negative: As with many accomodations options in the mountains, this is a little far from the Valbone-Theth trailhead and also a little way into Valbone proper, but with planning it's perfectly ok.

Summary: Beautiful location, lovely food, friendly staff... and amazing views!

Positive: It was beautiful! Amazing views, beautiful hosts. Bathroom was spacious and new. I purchased the dinner and be warned, it was A LOT of food, but delicious. Breakfast was amazing. The hosts really try to accomodate to all requests. Great value. Loved it. Couldn’t fault it.

Positive: The guesthouse and the family are amazing. This was one of the best highlights of my European travels. Extremely good value, amazing scenery and the food was delicious. The young kids are extremely polite, work really hard and speak English very well. Room had a nice view, and it was nice to watch the animals around the property and nearby.

Negative: The room isn’t the most soundproof. Having a sign outside the property might make it easier to find (even though I didn’t have much trouble).

Summary: Perfect stay after doing the Theth-Valbona hike. Highly recommend!

Positive: Location was close to start of the Valbone - Theth hike and only about 25 mins into the main town. Breakfast was amazing, filled me up before the hike. They also packed a lunch for me!

Positive: Guesthouse Rama was a wonderful experience!!! The host family were very friendly and hospitable. It’s in a great location in Valbonë as it’s walking distance to a swimming spot by the lake and to the start of the Valbonë - Theth trail. We also had a lovely breakfast!

Summary: Would definitely book again :)
