Positive: The staff service was the best I’ve come across. The staff throughout were impeccably trained. The reception staff could not have been more helpful. Mo-Jo was a delight. The food in the restaurant was really good. The location was wonderful.

Positive: The Golden Sands is, in my view, the classic seaside hotel. Right on the beach in one of the most beautiful bays in the UK. The hotel is very comfortable with great staff. We only had breakfast, which was fine, and I’m sure the dining is a high standard. Tue facilities are rudimentary but the beach more than compensates for anything lacking inside. We loved it.
Negative: No air-con. It was hot at night even though we were supplied with a decent fan.
Summary: The perfect beachside hotel.

Positive: Beautiful hotel...right on the beach....Loved sleeping with balcony doors open,with the sound of the sea to get me to sleep...total dream.
Negative: Maybe if the lounge area was a bit bigger....so you could sit with a drink....felf very small at times when busy
