Positive: Peterborough House is ideally situated for restaurants within St Aubins, although we mainly used the local supermarket not far from the property, which together with the full use of the main kitchen meant a more relaxed and casual evening meal time for us. The opportunity to mix and socialise with other guests, mainly mature students from the local English language college, using these facilities, suited us and added to the holiday experience. The property is a quaint historical building with rooms over three floors, the character of the building was well expressed with querky furniture details in the public areas and up to date main decorations and room facilities all in good order and well maintained and clean. The ground floor outside terrace was a welcome area to relax and or socialise. The historic and quaint nature of the property means that there are no lifts and air conditioning, personally this would not translate to a didn't like category for us though for some people the three flights of stairs could be an issue. Our top floor accommodation presented a challenge in the record breaking heat of our stay, though a large fan was provided to help dissipate the heat. The position of the property is near to the St Hellier bus routes, which we used to traverse the island and sight see. Continental breakfast may be a step down in spec for some Brits though what was provided here was good and healthy with plenty of choice and as much as you wanted, with Carol the manager going out and getting decaf tea when we enquired was there some available. Her assistance and attention was just what was required to provide a home from home vibe, who together with her husband, Trevor, ensured our stay was both comfortable and relaxing.

Positive: Trevor and Carol were superb, really helpful and full of useful tips on navigating jersey as me and my son were visiting WW2 military installations. Our room was lovely really clean and modern couldn't fault it on anything. We'd definitely stay there again. I'm already looking at returning to Peterborough house with my wife xx Breakfast in the sun lounge was really cool a great start to the day

Positive: All was great. Carol , a superb manager , helpful, attentive and super friendly. Supplied a fan for our room , then another when the guests opposite took it when left at our door 🤔🤣
