Positive: The suite was faultless, beautifully presented and looked after with a beautiful view from a juliet balcony and a special private sitting out area overlooking the lovely garden. The staff, with Cassie in charge, were charming and very efficient and Alex was a warm and considerate host. Everything has been thought of and supplied to make your stay special. Even the little touches of wee packets of sweets are a delightfully unexpected touch I thoroughly recommend a stay at Porthole Suites and am looking forward to coming back!

Positive: Wonderful little apartment. Beautifully decorated, perfectly clean, ideally located and had everything we needed for our short stay in Jersey.

Negative: Nothing. Only thing that could be added to the room is a tray to take breakfast up to your wonderful gardens (literally the only thing that could improve the accommodation)!

Summary: Absolutely fabulous stay. Would 100% recommend.

Positive: Location, next to the harbour for evening walks, able to walk into St Helier, access bus services, a range of restaurants nearby. Facilities good, eveything we needed was there. cleanliness and comfort were all good. Hosts - they were friendly when greeting us, during our stay and when we left.

Negative: There was an issue with the internet, the host was helpful and very concerned, they endeavoured to sort it including having someone out to sort it as soon as was possible. Unfortunately the problem didn't go away.

Positive: We have stayed at the Port Holes apartments at least 20 times over the years. Always immaculately clean, good quality furniture and kitchen appliances. The owner, Alex is always on hand and very knowledgeable about the Island and how to get around. The bus service is excellent - but every 15 mins to St Helier where the main terminus is. There is a supermarket just two mins away and lots of lovely restaurants to choose from. Just perfect.

Negative: I don’t like leaving and going home!

Positive: Such a wonderful place! It’s been 22 years since our last visit to Jersey when we discovered and fell in loved with St Aubin so we decided to head back for a last minute NYE getaway and Porthole Suites was the icing on the cake. Fantastic location in St Aubin with its great selection of restaurants, cafes and we served bus route Porthole Suites has everything you need. Our Sea view room (6) was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We slept like babies in the massive bed, had a lovely sized high pressure shower to wake to, plus a well equipped kitchen. Ample storage space and very accommodating with later check in and late check out. Everyone was really lovely and very friendly. To be honest one of the reasons we pick Porthole Suites rather than slashing out on the local hotel, which we planned to spoil ourselves with being New Years Eve and all, was the incredible and well deserved reviews and I am so glad we picked them.

Positive: This place just ticks all the boxes you’d have for self catering. Superb layout of the apartment, very well maintained and equipped and the bed was so comfortable! The position of the house is perfect, only a few minutes away from a plethora of good restaurants and bars and a mini supermarket. Also very easy to get around the island if you don’t have a car with a bus stop less than 5 minutes away. Alex the owner goes out of her way to ensure you are looked after well.

Negative: Nothing! That’s why we have been several times!

Summary: Perfect place to stay in a pleasant town on a perfect island!
