He has incredible knowledge about Abu Simbel and replies with 5G speed - sometimes he answers before we even finish typing! 😁 Important note: Don’t miss his mom’s homemade traditional meals - they are delicious.

Positive: The host were very friendly, and the location was excellent for visiting Abu Simbel temple. Unfortunately, it was just for one night, but I’ll try to stay longer in the future.

Positive: It looks just like the pictures and is clean with good hot water. Ahmed is willing to drive you wherever you need to go free of charge. If you are nervous and feel like you need or want a guide this is the perfect place for you. Ahmed was kind to tell us about the temples. The welcome drinks were nice.

Negative: Althouh Ahmed was very nice, we felt like there was a lot of pressure to frequent the places he thought we should go. Everywhere we went, the prices were higher than other places in Egypt we have been to.

Positive: The location was good. You can easily walk to Abu Simble Temples and the centre part. The accomodation has a lot of space. Communication with host is good.

Negative: As there is a kitchen it would be nice to have coffee or teabags. Now it is a big kitchen which you can’t use. Tap doesn’t work.

Positive: Everything. The apartment was spacious, clean, with exellent wifi and AC, which was especialy usefull, becouse daily temeratures reached 37 degres Celsius.Ahmed was very nice and helped us with organising our activities. His mother is great chef and we ate some of the best food in our life.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: It was never easier for me to give 10 to host.

Positive: Very big area all for ourselves. You have your own living room, kitchen, bedroom (including tv with Netflix) and bathroom! In the fridge there were fresh fruits, water and other sodas for free. Everything was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was GREAT one of the best we had ik Egypt - fresh falafel/eggs/cheese everything! The host was friendly and helpful - you could ask and contact him for any advice/ticket/tours but he also leaves you do your own thing - not pushy as many other experiences we had in touristic places in Egypt.

Negative: When we arrived we werent sure where to go. Luckily the owner is very responsive on whatsapp so when we called we could find the right building.

Positive: The room is clean which is what we most care about. enough hot water. there are 4 rooms including bathroom, bed room, kitch and rest space with two sofa. The rooms smell very good because there is humidifier with perfume. Before we come to the room, the host have turned the air conditioning on to provide the best experience all times. The host is very nice. He even gave us a gift surprise before leaving. Full stars place
