Positive: Humza, the owner of the hotel, took care of all the logistics for his guests - organised tuk tuks for us to get to and from temple and to the bus station so we did not have to bargain with them. Also provided us breakfast for free and gave excellent recommendation for dinner (it was in fact one of the best meals' we've had in Egypt).

Positive: Amazing rooms, super comfy beds and great location. Not quite in the city center which makes it more quiet and relaxed. The breakfast is really delicious!! And the best thing was Hamza, the host. He's so welcoming, kind and warm. He's really making sure that you feel comfortable and great at his place. We were sick so he even helped us with getting meds from the pharmacy and was constantly checking in on us. He was really going out of his way to make us get better. Thank you so much for everything again Hamza, you're incredible!

Positive: Our stay at Wawat Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish. The gentleman who welcomed and hosted us was incredibly helpful and made everything feel very easy and smooth. Communication was simple—he contacted us immediately via WhatsApp and was already waiting for us even before check-in, despite the accommodation being easy to find. He assisted us with everything we needed, including arranging transport to Abu Simbel directly through the hotel, which was very convenient. The breakfast he prepared was great, and we also appreciated that free bottled water was always available in the fridge. He genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable, while still giving us full privacy and space without being intrusive at all. The rooms were perfectly fine, and the modern shower was a very pleasant surprise after traveling around Egypt. Overall, we highly recommend Wawat Hotel for anyone visiting the area around Aswan. It was a warm, easy, and very comfortable stay thanks to the amazing hospitality.

Positive: Everything! The host, Hamza, was very hospitable, helpful, friendly, and genuinely wanted me to enjoy Abu Simbel to the max. He helped me organise everything - from getting to the temples, to transport to Aswan, and dinner. The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. AC works perfectly - important in the heat of the south! The common area is well kept and well equipped, including a washing machine and smart TV. Highly recommend!

Positive: Hamza was very friendly and helpful to me. I was in abu simbal for the 22nd of October sunrise event. Hamza arranged tickets for the sound and light show and then for the sunrise event as well. Also transport to the temples was at the door to take me to the temples and return. All in all a truly wonderful experience. I cannot thank him enough. Also I had access to the washing machine which as every traveller knows is a bonus. Clean clothes for the forward journey. Thx Hamza. God bless you.
